Capture the unique soul and spirit of ceramic and dinnerware artisans, Carter and Co.’s HQ in Pope Valley. Sometimes jobs come to me and I just have to pinch myself they seem so perfect. This was one of those. Byron Hoffman at Offset Partners knew my books and called on me to do what I love to do best. I spent a couple days at the ranch with Richard Carter and Kelly Farley, photographing their work spaces, kilns, home and land and in the end edited through my images to create a visual story, exactly as I would tell it in one of my books. Someday I’d love to write an essay to accompany them but for now, I’ll let my images tell Carter and Co’s wonderful story.
