This is the shoot from my time in Mexico City for August Journal that almost didn’t happen. On the last day before I flew home, we finally got the green light to photograph the jaw-dropping home of dance legend and founder of Ballet Folklorico de Mexico Amalia Hernandez, designed for her by her architect brother Augustin Hernandez. It was absolutely worth the wait and warrants its own section here.
